George Stappas, Vice President at BMA Small Business Payroll, manages all daily operations for the company’s South Florida office. He ensures that payroll reminders are sent to BMA’s clients in a timely, consistent manner. In addition to overseeing quality control of internal workflow processes, George is in charge of payroll delivery to our clients, along with any cash requirements. He also handles our business development and client-relations programs.
Prior to joining BMA Small Business Payroll, George spent numerous years in the golf industry. He was a professional golfer and subsequent hard-goods specialist/innovator for the well-known Edwin Watts Golf company (at one of its Florida retail locations). One of George’s proudest achievements while working at Edwin Watts: founding and then building its custom (golf club) repair-and-fitting division from zero into a $1 million-plus revenue stream in less than four years. Adept at identifying clients’ customer-service needs, he brings the same drive and vision to BMA that made him so successful at Edwin Watts Golf.
While attending High Point University in North Carolina, George pursued his passion for golf, turning professional in 1991. He lives in Delray Beach, Florida, in close proximity to BMA’s South Florida office.
